From weeks to minutes: How can a data map agent change

What if integrating your data for him not to spend weeks or months – but it happened within minutes, never moving your data at all?

This is the vision that directs the development of a new data map agent in SAS. It’s not just a feature – it’s a possible shift in the way organizations treat one of the most disappointing parts of the analytics: data preparation.

“A common task in almost every project of he is to design the columns of your existing environments in the columns required by his models,” explains Udo Sglavo, SAS Vice President I applied and modeling. “What if we can use that agent to help this tedious task?”

Sglavo and his team created a MAPPER data agent who uses large language models to automate this process as much as possible.

Data preparation is still elephant in the room

“We all want data cartography to be as simple as a line article in a project plan … But the real complexity after customer data is stunning,” said John Boyd, Vice President of the Product Management SAS.

He is not wrong. Before any model can work, teams often spend weeks by building custom pipelines – extracting, transforming and loading data through environments to make it usable. And it’s not always quiet navigation.

What if you don’t need to move the data?

A new data map agent is coming from SAS aiming to eliminate all that complexity. It uses automatic scheme mapping and virtual images in a client’s environment, allowing models to work directly from existing data – without duplication, without restructuring and no long configuration.

“Imagine a day where integration of systems is no longer worrying,” Boyd said. “Where we appear in a perspective site, we ask them to enter a small portion of the credential information – and to show them the full portfolio of the SAS model working outside their data.”

This is not a distant dream. The development team has already tested the MAPPER data agent in cases of use such as medical risk modeling, showing how this type of real -time integration can direct the placement and reduce the cost.

Less danger. More value.

Data management is not just a technical challenge – it’s a matter of trust. As Boyd said:

“Customers feel like putting their careers in the hands of others when depending on a big data management project.”

The purpose of a data map agent is to facilitate that burden. Designed is created to help users get into their data value faster and with fewer rivets to overcome. The initial focus is to add data map skills to pre-built models and rapid expansion of SAS solution offers.

Instead of spending months of quarrel data, teams can focus on solving problems, setting models and delivering results.
