Declares the national research of history practitioners – Aaslh
Today AASLH Social History Research Laboratory begins with a great new research initiative: The National research of history practitioners.
This national survey aims to answer important questions: Who is working in the history in the history? How are they compensated? And how do they treat their work?
Currently, our field has little reliable information on the history of the workforce. The lack of information limits our ability to make informed decisions and make a lawyer for the necessary change. Your participation in this survey will help AAslh and a more clear, more persistent view of the historical sector efforts to build a more evident body.
We cannot do this without you.
If you are a historical member, contractor or a historical museum, a historical site, reserve organization or a related organization, take a total of 10 minutes to complete the survey. Your answers will be completely anonymous.
In the period of rapid change and sustainable problems, it is more important to understand who works in history organizations and how they look into the field.
The following year will analyze the AASLH survey information and share the findings operating through reports, infrictions and programs designed to form the future of pactics, funds, decisions and others. These concepts will support propaganda, guide institutional planning and local, state and national levels.
The survey will be closed on Friday June 6.
Please have a request, encourage your colleagues in the field to share and participate in extensive. We will strengthen more responses, the more informative and labor force will strengthen.
Following this survey will help you strengthen the history area for everyone.
