Samsung confirms the start date of the Galaxy S25 Edge, along with its 200MP camera

Samsung has finally revealed the official start date for his next thin, lightweight, Galaxy S25 Edge phone. After months of harassment and even phone appearance in numerous events, Samsung will finally allow people to maintain iPhone 17 air competition in their hands and add a perception of Slimness to our imagination. May 13, as it has come out before, is the day Samsung will officially announce the Galaxy S25 Edge globally.

In a post in the newsroom, Samsung revealed that the starting event will be cut online on May 13 at 9am in Korea. This translates to London’s 1st in the morning, the 8th of May 12th in New York, and 5 in the afternoon in California. It seems that a single internet event will replace numerous regional omissions.

While the phone design has already been shown several times at least some official cases other than leaks, Samsung also claims “pro-scale skills to intuitively capture the world around you”. With this, it has confirmed the S25 Edge will come with a 200MP primary camera, throwing it near the Galaxy S25 ultra with the same megapixel number. Samsung is also pretending that the camera switches to a “smart lens that helps know what matters to create new memories”, but it is unclear if it refers to existing visual intelligence solutions from Google – such as Live Gemini – or a property solution. We will learn more when the phone starts next week.

In addition to these parts, the Galaxy S25 Edge specifications have also discovered, detecting an overloaded Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, an approximately 3,900mAh battery, an AMOLED 6.7 -inch screen and possible use of pottery and titanium for construction. Other leaks have confirmed that Samsung will provide the phone in three colors, a 50MP ultrawide -free ultrawide camera, and a starting price of approximately $ 1,300.

At this price, the Edge Galaxy S25 can exceed ultra. But despite its exquisite profile, it may not be the thinner Samsung phone to begin in 2025 – a title expected to be kidnapped by the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the coming months.
