It was such a fun and powerful childhood story. The author did a remarkable job of conquering readers with thoughtful and relative characters that children and parents can contact. History has also helped to illustrate the importance of teaching children to appreciate the small moments of everyday life that people often take for granted.

Like someone who regularly investigates and talks about the paranormal community, I found it refreshing to see a children’s book that deepens in holistic and magical elements of history. The word ritual has become a powerful topic in the book, often misunderstood as something “evil” by certain groups. However, in reality, this speaks to the daily moments that become part of everyone’s combinations. I appreciated this approach to the idea and the concept of both the ritual and the magic as a whole and its connection with the natural world.

Verdict

Fun, engaging and deliberate in his approach, “every day magic” by the author Melanie Lane Durham is a must reading a children’s book. The heart and the passion that the author poured into the history and the rich topics that readers would contact immediately with this made this so fascinating childhood story to get lost. If I have ever been lucky to have children someday, I would like to be a book that I read to them at night. If you are not yet, be sure to take your copy today!

My story: I believe in the power of the little wonders of life. Born from a personal journey, everyday magic is one of these wonders! In 2023, I was greeted with the sudden onset of a chronic illness caused by unforeseen circumstances with roots that return to my early childhood. What I felt like one night I found out that I was moving from an active entrepreneur to a woman, often stuck in bed.

I began to dream of ways to communicate with my children and make meaningful memories, even when my energy was low. These ideas have become the heart of this book, a story created with love, imagination and belief that magic is not something we find; This is something we create! I believe that each of us has the power to revive this magic.
