Atanna and Jade Rusalka
The undervalued, pure art of the opener and the direct storytelling of stories continue in this sequel, which leads adventurers to the remote wandering islands, a source of magic of Firebird. There, Firebird’s friend of Atana, Rehn, can be healed and call the other long fiery birds to help the problems disrupt the earth’s magic flow. Meanwhile, Atanan’s abduction by the agents of the Merfolk empire precipitates a rescue expedition, which reveals both surprisingly new allies and a prophecy that Atanna will somehow play a vital role in the breakdown of the chains placed on the free -floating magic of Merfolk by their raw, controlling Empress. The tale, slightly endowed with heroic exploits and carved with the topics of reconciliation, reaches a tidy sheath that will leave the readers well pleased. Still, the visualizations will probably stay with them for the longest time. Zhou turns out to be equally skillful in depicting moments of drama and rest in harmonious shapes and colors like her figures, many of the flowing clothes, compose with lively grace, while passing through and between the kingdoms, both secular and mystical in liquid secked panels. The skin tones range widely from tan to dark brown; Atana falls into the middle range, chromatic and is always easily visible because of her short green hair.
