Rating markings for assessment can be a powerful tool to establish expectations and criteria for a rating and support students in understanding feedback. Rubrics are more effective if introduced to students from the beginning and integrated in the focus activities on the assessment. I have used the rubrics for my marking for many years. I hear that they also help mark more consistent when several markers are involved in marking the same evaluation. For this digest, I calculated some resources that can facilitate rubric implementation in your teaching.
