Contractpodai introduces Leah’s tariff agent – artificial lawyer

A couple of weeks ago the artificial lawyer covered the release of a Pramta tariff agent to help companies deal with the troubled environment of today’s trade. Now Contractpodai, who is mainly a provider of CLM, has issued his own Leah tariff agent.

Leah’s part relates to its legal assistant Genai, who is now settled throughout the business for multiple use cases.

They explained that the new agent ’empowers the corporations to proactively navigate the complexities of the evolution of global tariffs and trade regulations, critically transforming their approach to contract management. LEA provides corporates with the visibility needed to identify, evaluate and act in accordance with the provisions related to tariffs, enabling rapid legal recourse and strong contractual protection ‘.

In more detail, it covers:

  • ‘Supply chain optimization: Leah identifies supplier details and origin of production to evaluate geographical diversity and potential exposure to high -risk regions.
  • Drafting Fees Responsibility: LEA clarifies the responsibilities of paying fees between the buyer and the supplier, including the obligations caused by the new government regulations. This clarity is essential for the creation of legal responsibility, the assertion of contractual claims and the protection of unreasonable charges.
  • Incoterms & Risk Allocation: Leah highlights submission conditions such as paid obligation (DDP), where the supplier assumes responsibility for tariffs, transportation and distribution, translating directly into minimized legal and financial risk for the buyer and strengthening their position in possible disputes.
  • Navigator Legal Real: LEA identifies and drafts all legal remedies available specific to tariff changes within each contract. This analysis includes the protection of price escalation and notification requirements, the ways of activating large force with the required test standards, the rights of completion with the optimal strategy of the time, the renegotiating causes based on tariff thresholds and price regulation rights with implementation protocols.
  • Dispute resolution assessment: LEA analyzes dispute resolution mechanisms, identifying risks such as inaction of mediation steps, unclear arbitration deadlines, or unfavorable cost allocations. ‘

Sarvarth MisraCEO and co -founder of Contractpodai, commented: ‘Using that agent he to provide immediate, accurate knowledge, Leah enables our clients to move beyond passive risk management and instead identify and follow all the paths available for legal recourse, ensuring that their contractual rights are protected.

As Al with Pramta mentioned, it is a beautiful example of setting it rapidly to help a developing challenge. The only other question is: what will be the other company that will do it?
