My personal book club is made up of an eclectic group of women who come from all spheres of life. We have a little bit of an interior designer to a nurse for pediatric emergency care. But in general, we are all inclined to love non -filming in one way or another. So today I share some of the most popular non -filming books that my book club loved.

Educated: Memoir from Tara Westover
Tara Westover grew up as the daughter of the survivors of Morman, living in Idaho. While her parents claim to be trained in the home, she did not receive a little formal education. But her thirst for knowledge made her read everything she could take her hands, and with a little help she landed on the spot at university. Her journey took her to Harvard, Cambridge and beyond.
Henrietta’s immortal life is missing from Rebecca Sklut
When doctors discovered that Henrietta was missing cells, they were recovering like nothing they had ever seen, they stole her cells without telling her at all. They used her cells for important breakthroughs in medicine, such as polio vaccine and cancer studies. But they did not intend to ever compensate for her lack or family.

In this collection of essays edited by Alice Wong, disabled writers share their various experience with disability, chronic illness, neurodyver and deafness. From a wide range of environments and experience, associates represent a diverse perspective of disability, which distinguishes and celebrates life with disabilities.

The Way Through the Forest: On Mushrooms and Mourning by Long Litt Woon
We have many mushroom lovers in our book club, so this book about the women’s experience to deal with the grief by turning to the forage of mushrooms was a huge hit. When Long Lit Won’s husband died, she did not know how she would live without him. But somehow she falls into mushrooms, finding a whole new way to enjoy her home by exploring his forests. He has long started studying for the exam that will solidify her as a formal fodder with mushrooms. This is such a beautiful book about mourning and healing, told by writing nature.

Winter
With a burning on the rise, Hibernation is more appropriate than ever. In the modern classic of May, HibernationIt deepens in the importance of wintering, the practice of rest and withdrawal to recharge. She emphasizes that we cannot all work and produce 24/7 years. We all need a break and this is only part of the seasons of our lives.
