Google supports element power to build advanced nuclear sites across America

Google is continuing its support for nuclear energy. Following an agreement with Kairos Power last year, the research giant just signed a new agreement with Elela’s Power to finance the early development of the three advanced nuclear energy countries in the United States.

Each place is expected to support at least 600mW power – enough to hold lights for hundreds of thousands of homes. However, this partnership is not just about purest energy. You see, it is also about ensuring reliable power, always for the growing network of Google data centers, especially as artificial intelligence continues to increase the demand.

The Power element, which was founded in 2022, is not married to any reactor design. The company is technology-agnostic and describes itself as an independent power manufacturer that aims to bring new nuclear capacity to the Internet by 2035. Google investing gives it a front row to when those projects finally go directly.

“Innovative partnerships like this are needed to mobilize the capital required to build new nuclear projects,” said Chris Colbert, CEO of Element. “We look forward to working with Google to execute these projects and bring safe, carbon -free electricity to the network.”

Google also tried. “Our collaboration with Elela’s Power increases our ability to move at the speed required to meet this moment of him and American innovation,” said Amanda Peterson Corio, who runs energy planning for research giant databases.

But let’s be honest, people, whenever the word “nuclear” comes out, it’s hard not to think about Hernernobyl. Or fukushima. Yes, these new models are said to be safer. Yes, technology has made a long way. But should we be fully comfortable by placing all this belief in advanced reactors, some of whom have not even been proven on the scale? We have been told that this is the future of clean energy, but even the best defined plans can go sideways. Accidents don’t care how modern your brand is.

Elementl says it is still assessing which nuclear technology to use and is working with municipal services and regulators to move things. The company also says it is awakening about engineering and construction partners. Hopefully, she cares carries on execution.

This very good can be a turning point for energy in the United States. Or may end up as another expensive experiment. Either way, Google support shows that the nuclear is back to the table – whether we like it or not.
