Nvidia and Mediatek are reported to have come together to start a new system based on the SOC system that target Windows-capable PCs. It is expected to debut at the Computex 2025, cooperation may introduce a new contender to the PC market. These chips are expected to be connected to the GB10 platform, although a reduced CPU configuration is possible, reported to represent 20 cores (10 cortex-x925 and 10 cortex-a725).

Currently, Windows-on-Warp laptops are based exclusively on the Snapdragon processors of Qualcomm, which are mainly limited to premium-centered equipment. Thanks to the extensive support of Nvidia’s GPU driver, an area where the adreno of Qualcomm has fought, new chips can appeal to players. On the other hand, Mediatek can launch a more affordable variant with a smaller Nvidia GPU, opening the door to wingspan -based laptops.

While Nvidia and Mediatek can detect their new arm -based chip, current laptops and desktops that represent the processor may not hit the market for some time. A report by Semiaccurate suggests that technical issues may delay the completion of the chips, perhaps by pushing the device in 2026.

Meanwhile, Mediatek is reported to have provided a significant packaging capacity, likely for new processors, using FCBGA (FLIP Ball Grid Array) technology, which enables the CPU and GPU to be combined before being installed in the notebook. According to Digites, the extremely large order was placed around the end of last year, though it is unclear whether the possible delays were already foreseen.
