Readers of science fiction and fantasy – or those who are curious to dive into the genres – it’s time to rejoice. The finalists for the 2025 Locks Awards are here.

The finalists below were selected based on public votes. The winners of each of the categories will be announced on June 21 at the Locus award ceremony. Holded at the Nile Hall at the Oklland Conservation Park, California, the awards ceremony can be present by anyone, and this year the event will host MC Gail Carriger and special guests tochi onybuchi and Sarah Gailey.
