Welcome back to another top 5 Wednesday. The topic for this week is the second book is best.

We talked about series that went down and the series they were worth it, but which series was the best in the middle?

1) Prodigy (trilogy of the legend) by Marie Lou

June and day arrive in Vegas, just as the unthinkable happens: the electoral prima dies and his son Anden takes his place. With the republic, which goes up to chaos, the two join a group of patriotic rebels, eager to help the day save their brother and propose a transition to the colonies. They have only one request – June and a day have to kill the new voter. This is their chance of changing the nation, to give a voice to a nation that is muffled too long. But since June realizes that this voter is nothing like his father, she is pursued by the choice forward. What if Andin is a new beginning? What if the revolution should be more than loss and revenge, anger and blood – what if the patriots are wrong? Read my review of my full series here.

2) pandemonium (delirium trilogy) by Lauren Oliver

The second book in Lauren Oliver’s remarkable New York Times Bestsellers trilogy for forbidden love, revolution and power to choose.

In this electrifying tracking to DeliriumLena is in a dangerous course that translates her through unregulated wild and at the heart of the growing resistance movement. This brilliant, brilliant novel bursts with the fire of the fierce challenge, romance and the sparks of a revolution that is about to light.

I repel the memory of my nightmare, push out Alex’s thoughts, repel the thoughts of the inn and my old school, press, press, press, as Raven taught me to do. Old life is dead. But the old Lena is also dead. I buried her. I left it beyond a fence, behind a wall of smoke and flame. Read my full review here.

Review of the Prophecy Book5) Prophecy (the “Encouraged” series) of Elery Kane

The unsupportable saga continues in the prophecy, the second book of Elery Kane Inheritance Trilogy …

It has been over a year since Lex Knightley has been traveling alone in the empty San Francisco. Guardian’s forces are dissolved, banned from emotions change, and citizens are allowed to return to a seemingly resurrected city. For Lex, life is almost normal, but normal is uncertain. Normal has a way to break down.

A rainy night changes everything. Outside, Quinn McAllister’s father was arrested for the brutal murder of his new wife. As the resistance resumed, claiming a conspiracy, Lex does not know what or who to believe. When the old enemies reappear in new masking and reliable friends begin to keep secrets, the normal ones split right in the middle, leaving Lex and Quinn from opposite sides.

The prophecy-the second novel of the Heritage of the Eryi Kane-Continent continues the story of Lex and Quinn, testing the power of friendship, forgiveness and love. Read my full review here.
