New York – President Donald Trump has announced that he is ordering his administration to reopen and expand Alcatraz, the infamous former Bureau located on an island in California.

Posting on his Sunday evening social truth site, Trump stated, “America has long suffered from wild, violent and repeated criminal offenders, the lusts of society, who contribute nothing but misery and suffering. In the past, when we were a more serious nation, we did not hesitate to mix them. is how it should be. ”

He added, “Therefore, today, I am running the Prison Bureau, in cooperation with the Department of Justice, the FBI and the security of the homeland, to reopen a considerablely expanded and reconstructed alcatraz to stop the most ruthless and violent offenders of America.” Trump also noted, “the reopening of Alcatraz will remain as a symbol of law, order and justice.”

The prison was closed in 1963, and the island of Alcatraz is currently operated as a tourist spot.

The order comes while Trump has been clashing with the courts as he tries to send members of the gang accused to a notorious El Salvador prison without proper process. Trump has also talked about the desire to send US citizens there and to other foreign prisons.
