The program Book Book for Young Adults Girl plus a book
Imagine: Your brother commits suicide, your BFF no longer remembers you, your BFF (your boyfriend BFS) commits suicide, wherever you turn your classmates, enter the “program” and get their memories … And you know you’re next.
Enter the program. In one world, the degree of suicide is high for those under the age of 18, teens are obliged to be monitored by their feelings. And if you are suspected of thinking of suicide, you are forced to the program…. Where they take your memories to make you happy. But what did they deleted? Your love for your brother? All the memories of your boyfriend? …… it wasn’t to take.
The only thing I could do was sexual references. I listened to the audio book and it was almost uncomfortable, so maybe if you read the book, then it wouldn’t stand out so much. I was also hooked, listened to this book in 48 hours, and I was next.
Sloan knows better than crying in front of anyone. With suicide, now an international epidemic, one can land it in the program, the only proven course of treatment. Sloan’s parents have already lost one child; Sloan knows they will do everything to keep her alive. She also knows that everyone who has gone through the program is returning like an empty slate. Because their depression is gone – but these are their memories.
Under constant monitoring at home and at school, Sloan puts a brave face and holds his feelings buried as deep as possible. The only person with whom Sloan can be himself is James. He is promised to keep them safe and out of treatment, and Sloan knows that their love is strong enough to endure something. But despite the promises that have made each other, it is becoming increasingly difficult to hide the truth. Both are getting worse. Depression is adjusted.
And the program comes for them.
