Www on TCL Wednesday No. 17 – 7 May 2025 – The Book of Viewing the Book of Chocolate Lady

Thehe Www Wednesday Meme this meme has previously hosted Mizb in a daily rhythm and is revived by sam @ Taking a world of words And it’s a great way to update your reading and plans. I know many people do this every week, but as I am such a slow reader, you will all get bored, seeing the same thing week after week. That said I seem to make them do, even if I run a little later, both for reading and writing my reviews, so …

wwwwed Wednesdays

In order to participate, all you have to do is answer the following three questions:

  • What are you reading right now?
  • What did you have finished recently reading?
  • What do you think you will read afterwards?

As my regular readers know, I usually read one book on my Kindle and a book in print, so you get two for the price of one with this memory. So, here!

What Am I currently reading?

On my Kindle: I read the books of Barbara Lynn Presc from my debut, so when she offered me the rainbow of her most novel Roll The Sun, I was very happy to accept. By the time this post comes out live, I have to be almost finished with it and I hope to review next week. In print: When I heard that Rachel Joyce is coming out with a new novel, I ordered it in advance from Blackwell’s without knowing that I would get the rainbow from her publisher too! Well, the Print UK version of the “Home God” arrived only two days after the American rainbow came in, but I couldn’t wait, so that’s what I read right now!

What I recently finished reading?

On my Kindle: I just finished “Rescue Vincent” by Joan Fernandez, who is a captivating novel about Joe van Gogh, Vincent’s daughter-in-lawS Print: My third endeavor in G -Jia Polifax’s novels by Dorothy Gilman was the “elusive Mrs. Polifax”. I have another one on my shelf, but I think I’ll have to buy a little more!

What Do I think I’ll read afterwards?

On my Kindle: You may remember from previous publications that I was invited by the publisher to read a book called “Kennedy’s Girl” by Julia Brian Thomas. Now it was released in January, but … I still don’t know if I want to read something that sounds so serious, especially since it’s not for Jackie, so I’m torn. The next rainbow I have on my list is not due to the beginning of June, so it gives me a window for the one on my reading list. Do you think I have to try it at last?

This said I also grabbed the copy “Download Now” on Antoine Lorain’s novel The Portrait, which was first published in 2007 in French (and in 2017 in English). I guess the dates of July/September are listed there for reissue. Goodreads says: “The collector discovers the find of a portrait of an eighteenth -century man of a person who is not liked. To see the resemblance. Now, love Laurain’s writing, so every opportunity to read his books is the one I can’t convey – or I, this time?

In print: As is often the case, I don’t know what my next print book will be. So when the time comes, or I will read another Agatha Christie about my “Battle Race Challenge”, or I will just immerse myself in my comfortable, Dandy, TBR JAR and see what I pull. Wish me luck!

Did you read any of these books? Tell me in the comments! Thanks in advance.
