Dr. Deborah Wilson looks at book stacks and online quality content

I am pleased to get acquainted with the Irish New Editor since the 1800th of the Bibliography of the British and Ireland Bibliography. My professional information is in academic librarian and is currently a topic library for laws and laws in History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (Happy) and Queen University.

As a user, Bbih and a coach, my long-term mark with Bbih, allowed the editor’s editor to contribute. In the Queen, I regularly present students to students as part of research training. One of the most award-winning aspects of the role supports students at every stage of the training: to walk outside the first annual licenses, the doctoral candidates who have advanced literature reviews. My goal is to reduce the research process and empower students to find high quality, reliable information with confidence.

In this context, I put great value to resources that are useful, reliable and transparent in their structures. BBIH shows an example of these qualities. The British Islands, the English Empire and Union are not a historic scholarship index that covers the joint editorial model. Each record, in bibliographic details, subject label and keyword indexing is reviewed by the subject experts that provide both noticeable and accuracy.

Although the students learn to assess the importance of content today, they do not know the importance of the quality of the content. I recommend that reviewing and reviewing the platforms they use, understand the marks of scientific material. BBIH differs in this regard: its homepage explains the editorial process and coverage that offers transparency that is invaluable for new users.

Another reason I want to accept the editorial role in BBIH was an excuse to learn more about aspects of the database I am using. One of these areas is recently online reading lists of the work. I think it can be very useful for both researchers and educational workers, so I look forward to discovering more!

For those who love the series of detection of unexpected treasures in library stacks, BBIH digital parallel offers. Its structured scan features – the subject, location, person or historical period – allow researchers to explore the originated materials and discover the materials they do in other ways. The mixture of expansion coverage and navigation clarity is a significant tool for BBIH historical research.

I especially recommend that BBIH started new research projects. Provides a reliable review of the current scholarship and help researchers be aware of their field developments. Many postgraduate students shared their concerns that worry about watching the main sources during the preparation of literature reviews or Viva training. Instruments such as BBIH reduce this anxiety by offering a foundation for scientific, scientific surveys.

I look forward to supporting researchers to contribute to the sustainable development of Bbih and detecting a rich and various scholarship.
