AWS field experience reduced the cost and gave low latent and high performance with the Amazon Nova Lite Foundation model

AWS field experience (AFX) empowers the Amazon Web Services (AWS) sales teams with generating solutions built on the Amazon bed, improving how they interact sellers and AWS customers. The AFX team uses it to automate tasks and provide intelligent knowledge and recommendations, simplifying the workflow for roles facing customers and internal support functions. Their approach emphasizes operational efficiency and practical improvements to daily processes.

Last year, AFX introduced account summaries as the first in a future formation of tools designed to support and direct the course of sales work. Integrating structured and unstable data – from sales collateral and customer commitments to external mirrors and machine learning (ML) – the tool provides summary knowledge providing a comprehensive view of client accounts. These summaries provide concise summaries and timely updates, enabling teams to make informed decisions during client interactions.

Migration to Amazon Nova Lite Foundation model

Initially, AFX chose a range of models available in Amazon Bedrock, each selected for its specific skills adapted for different requirements of different summary sections. This was done to optimize accuracy, response time and cost efficiency. However, after presenting the best models of the Amazon Nova Foundation in December 2024, the team AFX consolidated all its generating load in the Nova Lite model to capitalize on its performance of industry prices and optimized delay.

Since the transfer to the Nova Lite model, the AFX team has reached a tremendous reduction of 90% of the costs of the conclusion. This has strengthened them to escalate operations and provide greater business value that directly supports their mission for creating efficient, high sales performance processes.

Because account compilations are often used by sellers during clients’ engagements in motion, the speed of response is essential for maintaining the seller’s efficiency. The low ultra delay of the Nova Lite model helps ensure that sellers get quick, reliable answers without compromising the quality of penetration.

The AFX team also highlighted the experience of migration smoothly, stressing that their existing criteria for promoting, reasoning and their evaluation were transferred smoothly to the Amazon Nova model without requiring significant modifications. The combination of rapidly adapted controls and the authorized reference content creates a limited response frame, minimizing the elements of hallucinations and inaccuracies.

Overall impact

Since the use of the Nova Lite model, over 15,600 summaries are generated by 3,600 sellers – with 1,500 of those sellers who produce more than four summaries each. Impressive, the account generating summaries have reached a 72%favoring rate, underlining the seller’s strong confidence and extensive approval.

AWS sellers report by saving on average 35 minutes for summary, a benefit that significantly increases productivity and allocates more time for customer commitments. Moreover, about one -third of the surveyed sellers noted that the summaries have had a positive impact on their customer interactions, and those who use account generating compilations suffered a 4.9% increase in the value created.

One member of the AFX team explained, “Model Amazon Nova Lite has significantly reduced our costs without compromising performance. This allowed us to get quick, reliable account summaries, making the interaction of the client more productive and influential.”

By migrating to the Amazon Nova Lite model, the team has not only achieved significant cost savings and reduced the delay, but has also empowered retailers with a major intelligent and reliable solution. This process has translated into real-world benefits-saving time, simplifying research and strengthening customer engagement-setting a solid foundation for continued business goals and sustainable success.
